CHIPRA Performance Bonus Call & Quality Grants

Dear Partners,

This alert provides information about a CMS conference call on CHIPRA performance bonuses scheduled for this Monday and announces the good news that three New England states received grants to improve health care quality and delivery systems for children.

CMS Conference Call on CHIPRA Performance Bonuses

On Monday, March 8th, CMS will hold a national conference call to provide guidance to states interested in applying for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2010 CHIPRA performance bonus payments. As you may remember, nine states were awarded over $72 million in FFY 2009 performance bonuses for meeting Medicaid enrollment target levels and implementing at least 5 of 8 enrollment and retention simplification strategies in Medicaid and CHIP.
