Exciting Changes at NEACH

Dear Partners,

We wanted to update you about staffing changes here at NEACH. After three years as NEACH’s Program Associate, Maia Fedyszyn will be leaving her role this Friday, July 22 to pursue a master’s degree at the Harvard School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management. As all of you know, Maia has been an incredible asset to the NEACH team. She played a critical role providing support to numerous state groups, spearheading important projects like The Monthly Check-Up and regional candidate questionnaires, planning the NEACH summits, and many other things. While Maia will be sorely missed at Community Catalyst, we are excited for her to take advantage of this new opportunity. I know you join me in thanking her for her outstanding work!

We are excited to announce that we have hired Nicole Tambouret as NEACH’s new Program Manager. Nicole is an attorney and most recently worked as the State Policy Director for the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, where she spent much of her time focused on health care issues (her entire bio can be found here). Nicole will manage NEACH’s activities and work with the team to provide support to all of you. You can contact Nicole at ntambouret@communitycatalyst.org or 617 275 2871.

We are also pleased to announce that Patrick Tigue has been made a Senior Policy Analyst. His responsibilities with NEACH will not change in any way; this new title is in recognition of the outstanding work he has been doing with NEACH and in support of Community Catalyst’s policy agenda.

Finally, I will be transitioning into a new role with NEACH, serving in a senior advisor capacity and providing broad strategic oversight and leadership to Nicole and Patrick. In addition, I will continue as Community Catalyst’s Director of External Affairs.

With our new staffing configuration, we believe will be able to advocate even more effectively at the federal level and provide deeper and more specialized technical assistance to our partners. We look forward to continuing our work with all of you as we transition into our new staff arrangement. If you have any questions or comments about NEACH’s enhanced staffing arrangement, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Amy Rosenthal
Project Director
